Port Blair 16 MW Power Plant
In 2012, Express Engineers and Spares Pvt. Ltd. supplied a complete 16 MW diesel-based power plant at Port Blair to serve the Andaman & Nicobar Islands' round-the-clock electricity needs — one of India's largest island-grid diesel installations.
The project demanded sustained prime-power generation under island conditions — heat, humidity, salt-air corrosion, and zero grid backup. Cummins India provided 24-hour technical support throughout the deployment and operations. The plant has run reliably since commissioning, underscoring Express Rentals' ability to deliver mission-critical infrastructure-grade installations at scale.
